Ziba Headquarters

View Images

Through the design of the Ziba World Headquarters, Holst set out to create a place that fosters the cross pollination of ideas in a company defined by its multidisciplinary experimentation and excellence. A testament to inspiring, problem-solving design, the headquarters create an elegant and efficient environment that supports Ziba's creative endeavors.

The space exemplifies Ziba and its services but also protects the propriety of their work. Primary spaces of ideation and work are elevated to the second and third floors. Welcoming the neighborhood with retail and auditorium spaces at the ground level, Ziba serves as a community incubator and civic innovator.

Conceptual excitement

Custom displays showcase Ziba’s award-winning work.

Creating a block-long expanse of space and light, an internal avenue stretches the length of north facing facade, flanked by a series of workspaces. These open collaborative zones are separated minimally by sliding doors to foster the integration of ideas and disciplines, but provide privacy when necessary.

Every space is defined by its function and purpose—no universal solutions are relied upon. Rigorous creative tension results in eloquent design for a headquarters that balances aesthetics and purpose, a feeling expressed in each material and detail.

Gallery

The office’s ground floor features an interactive gallery space for rotating exhibits.
