hollywoodHUB is a 12-story, 222-unit transit-oriented development coming soon to Portland’s Hollywood District. The project will be a mixed-use, mixed-income building that embraces the site, its history, and the Hollywood District as a hub for transit, equity, and community. The project is led by BRIDGE Housing and TriMet, with on-site services provided by Hacienda Community Development Corporation.

To provide much needed options for families historically priced out of NE Portland, 60% of the homes at hollywoodHUB are two- and three-bedroom units. The affordable housing development will be geared towards families earning between 30-60% of the Area Median Income (AMI) and all will be affirmatively marketed to BIPOC families.

Holst’s design builds on the site’s character, local identity, and the community's aspirations for the area by creating a truly inclusive transit-oriented development.

The development delivers on the promise to revitalize the under-utilized Hollywood transit Station with affordable housing, improved accessibility and maneuverability for pedestrians and bikes, as well as quality public placemaking strategies. Organized around a central resident courtyard, the site design reinforces the new public linkage connecting Halsey Ave to the Hollywood Max station and the Laurelhurst neighborhood. The building is sculpted to reinforce site and visual corridors along this public connection while providing visual interest and weather protection for pedestrians.

Building amenities include community rooms, an indoor play area, a teen lounge, resident services, and bike parking.

The project will incorporate a central courtyard and adjacent paseo/market street (built by TriMet), which will not only serve the building's residents but also function as an amenity for the greater community.
