Rosemary joined Holst in 2020, having previously worked in New York City and Portland on residential design and construction, where she advocated for urban ecological design solutions to address climate change. While working towards her Master’s at Portland State University (PSU), she was a fellow of the Institute for Sustainable Solutions and the Center for Public Interest Design (CPID), developing affordable housing prototypes. She received the AIA Henry Adams medal, the Architectural Research Center Consortium medal, and the thesis prize for her research and design work addressing earthquake preparedness in the Pacific Northwest. As a graduate, she was also a teaching assistant for the Research-Based Design Initiative and summer immersion program and recently taught a course in Advanced Architectural Materials.

Away from the office, she enjoys cycling and exploring the PNW.
