Cecily Ryan
Interior Designer (she/her)
National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ)
With over 2 decades of experience working in the industry, Cecily joined Holst, having led interior design on a variety of project types. From headquarters for nationally recognized brands, multifamily housing, museums, and healthcare facilities on a variety of scales, her focus remains on creating spaces that are beautiful and humane. She is committed to understanding client aspirations and crafting environments that resonate with their unique work.
Recently, Cecily has been working on the Lemelson Foundation’s office tenant improvement and Redfern Properties’ Tavata apartments. The Lemelson office in Portland, Oregon, will be a flexible space to support the organization’s evolving needs. The Tavata project is a 325-unit market-rate development in Portland, Maine. Located near the Roux Institute, the team is designing the housing and communal spaces with student residents in mind.
Raised in the picturesque Berkshires of Massachusetts, Cecily cultivated a lasting affection for the outdoors. Today her free moments are dedicated to re-wilding her NE Portland garden, enjoying snowboarding escapades with her husband and two children on Mount Hood, and relishing the beauty of the Oregon coast’s abundant public beaches.
