André joined Holst with over a decade of experience working on residential, retail, and commercial architecture projects. Born and raised in Australia, André now resides in Bend, Oregon and is excited to expand Holst’s presence in Central Oregon. A passionate designer, he enjoys the full spectrum of design from sketch to construction. He is driven by the desire to create meaningful architecture that is grounded in creating a sense of place and pride in a community. An advocate for sustainability in the industry, André was an integral team member on The Nick Fish, a certified LEED Gold mixed-use housing development in Portland’s Gateway Urban Renewal Area.

Currently André is working on Multnomah County Library’s new East County Library located in Gresham, Oregon. The flagship 95,000-square-foot library, currently under construction, will provide new services and programming to the approximately 40% of Multnomah County residents that live in East County.
