Maggie Harris
Senior Associate (she/her)
Maggie joined Holst with over 10 years of project management and design experience on a diverse portfolio of projects, including retail, workplace, and residential design. Maggie pursued her graduate degree in Architecture & Sustainable Real Estate Development from the Tulane School of Architecture, where she focused on community design and research. At Tulane, Maggie was awarded the Graduate Design Excellence Award, the John Lawrence Travel Fellowship, and the Comprehensive Studio Prize. She continues her community development and design research through the Urban Studies PhD program at Portland State University.
In October of 2023, Maggie was nominated by the Governor’s office to serve on the Oregon Housing Stability Council. The Council’s mission is to provide leadership in, and review and set policy for, the development and financing of affordable housing throughout the state of Oregon.
Recently, Maggie has been working as the Project Manager for two of Holst’s affordable/Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) developments: Julia West House and 73Foster. Located in Portland’s West End, Julia West is a 12-story, Cross-Laminated Timber tower that will house 90 units of PSH. In the Mount Scott-Arleta neighborhood, 73Foster is intended as a ‘sister building’ to Holst’s 72Foster and will include 64 units of affordable housing and 22 units of PSH.
