Before joining Holst in 2014, Dustin worked in New York City for eight years, giving him experience in diverse project types and scales. He has worked on high-rise offices, embassies, university projects, private residences, affordable housing, and more—always striving for high design despite the unique challenges that come with complex projects. As a project designer, he leads project teams through the design process, taking client ideas and turning them into reality. He balances aesthetics with thoughtfulness, functionality, and sustainability, seeking to add beauty, grace, and human scale to projects. Recently Dustin has been working on the Oregon State University Patricia Valian Reser Center for the Creative Arts, which will bring music, theater, digital communications, and visual arts under one roof and serve as a campus centerpiece for culture and creativity.
