In the 13 years Ben has been with Holst, he has worked on projects of various types and scales, from affordable and market-rate housing to civic and community-focused projects. Having previously lived in Chicago, St. Louis, Los Angeles, Buenos Aires, and Paris, his design process is influenced by his international travels, experience designing across the U.S., and his love of nature and the outdoors. As Holst’s dedicated Building Information Modeling (BIM) Coordinator, Ben oversees all BIM operations at Holst. He manages BIM standards and implementation, working closely with teams to support efficient and accurate BIM project development.

Most recently, Ben has been working on Mariposa Village. The development will be a vibrant, sustainable, and multigenerational affordable housing community located on approximately seven acres in Hood River, Oregon. It will provide 108 units across four multifamily buildings and 22 townhomes to households earning 30% – 60% of the Area Median Income (AMI).
